Full day Packages for a Painter
- This offer entitles you to 7.5 hrs of Painting to be completed the same day, anything above 7.5 hrs will be charged at a prorated hourly rate of $73.20 per hr (all staff have WSIB and Liability Insurance)
- The Home Improvement Group will provide you with the Painter and the basic tools required to get the job done
- Small patch work is included (any excessive patch work will take more time in turn costing more
- Sample work includes ceilings, walls, baseboards, minor drywall repairs, fences and decks.
- You name it, we do it.
- Interior or Exterior work may be combined on the same day.
- Specialty equipment such as, power washers, ladders over 9 feet, hoists and scaffolding are charged extra as per site requirements.
- Furniture and other electronics must be moved by the customer prior to commencing the work (to be moved to the center of the room and covered for protection)
- Please note that wallpaper is $699 per day (please call office for more details)
- Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC are charge at $116hr. for a 3-hr min and preformed by one of our Licensed Professionals.

Additional Notes:
When our Painter arrives, you should have all your paint and materials ready. We would also ask that you arrange parking for our painter for when they arrive. Our staff have great work ethics and are expected to meet your expectations.
Please make sure you move all furniture to the middle of the room, remove any drapery and pictures prior to arrival. This will ensure you are utilizing your painter’s time effectively.
If you require the painter for longer than 7.5 hours, you can purchase more hours at $73.20 per hour on that day only. Please notify our office that you have approved the additional hours that may be required to complete your project during your day. We limit our staff members to 10 hrs per day.
Should you require materials to be ordered and delivered, there is a 30% handling fee.
Painting Tips
1 Gallon = 350-400 square feet of Wall Space (covers 2 coats for standard 10×10 room using existing color only, all other variations can take up to 2 gallons per room)
Primers: 100% required if going from a Dark Color to a light Color (please note it can take 1-2 coats of primer to cover darker colors before applying paint)
Important Facts:
You can also have a primer tint added to your new color essentially a built-in Primer.
Please make sure that you always confirm with the Paint Supplier that you have the correct paint and tints for all areas being painted and the proper quantity to maximize your Painters efficiency.
It is also very important to note that if you have water/smoke stains you will need a specialty stain primer to properly remove the stains.
Dark colors like Red, Blue, Pink or Purple and Yellows and Whites can take up to 3- 4 coats of primer/paint to create the right professional look.
