New Deck
Home Improvement Group (HIG) arranged for a contractor to remove my old deck and replace it with a new composite deck. The work was done on schedule and to my complete satisfaction. The deck looks great and the construction site was completely cleaned up. My house is downtown and the site is difficult to access. I have used the HIG for other projects, including painting and floor installation, and they have never let me down.
Replacing Shed
The company was very responsive. Klaudio came next day, looked at what needs to be done, and provided very reasonable estimate next day after that. We agreed when to start, and they came exactly on the day and on the hour. They had to stop the work because the shed I bought was defective and I had to replace it. After I got the replacement they came back and finished the job very quickly. I will certainly hire them again.
Stairs To Front Porch Replaced
Initially had a few scheduling problems, but once straightened out, the trades people came earlier than I expected, by the time I noticed they were here, they have almost completed half of the job. The site was completely cleaned up afterward also. The people I dealt with were very friendly and professional. I am quite please with the installation and feel much safer going up or down these new stairs now.
Challenging Wallpaper Removal On Plaster
THIG brought in their expert, James, who did a great job finishing a COVID project I had started and given up on in frustration a couple of years ago. In a matter of days James was able to remove multiple layers of wallpaper (1 layer at least 70 years old) off of plaster walls. He then beautifully skim coated and painted the walls. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous.
